Your activities and time records

Timeway stores your activities, projects, tags, focus sessions, and time entries on your device. You do not need a Timeway account to use the app, and this content is not sent to Protaski servers.

iCloud sync and backups

With Timeway Pro, sync is enabled by default when iCloud is available. It stores your tracking data in your personal iCloud account so it can sync between your devices. You can turn sync off in Timeway Settings. Protaski does not receive a copy of your iCloud data. Turning sync off stops future syncing; it does not delete data already stored in iCloud. Separately, your device backup may include Timeway data, depending on your Apple backup settings.

Subscriptions and payments

Apple handles Timeway Pro purchases through the App Store. Timeway checks your purchase status to unlock Pro features. Protaski does not receive your payment card details.

Exports, widgets, and the Lock Screen

Reports and backups contain the information you choose to export. When you save or share a file, a copy goes to the location or service you select. Widgets and Live Activities can display activity names and tracked time on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. You can manage these displays using your device settings.

When you contact us

If you contact Timeway support, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you send. We use these to answer your request and keep a record of the conversation. Your email provider also processes messages you send through it.

When you visit our website

timeway.io does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider processes connection information, such as your IP address, to serve the website. Information you choose to send to support is handled as described above.

Managing and deleting your information

You can edit or delete your activities and time entries in the app. When sync is active, changes to synced records can also apply to your other devices. Turning off sync or deleting the app does not by itself remove existing iCloud copies or exported files. Manage those copies through iCloud or wherever you saved them. To ask about or request deletion of a support conversation, email us using the contact details below.

Children

Timeway is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Timeway changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
